The Elephant Whispers Volunteer Program, a Seasons in Africa Social Responsibility initiative offers the eco-conscious visitor the opportunity to "give back" by sharing their expertise and skills.
The programme covers all aspects of the ecology of the area, and volunteers will be able to work with the elephant, horses, local rural community, and do conservation work.
Volunteers pitch in and help with the daily care of the elephants and horses, improving and assisting a local rural school, conducting basic wildlife conservancy tasks such as, invasive plant control, wildlife monitoring, checking anti-poaching measures and general repairs and maintenance, as well as learing about experiencing the diverse cultural and natural attractions of the region.
Programs range from 3 days to 8 weeks, but are all flexible allowing you to choose the amount of time you would like to give to the project. The program includes comfortable accommodation, all meals and weekly excursions, good company and an unforgettable and rewarding experience!
